Every pregnancy is different and every labour has a tendency to be different. Proper knowledge of the process is important to ensure best possible outcome.
When do I need to go to the hospital ?
- Loss of baby movements: It is the symptom that usually gets overlooked. If the baby is moving less than normal or totally silent then you need to see your doctor.
- Regular contractions which keep getting stronger.
- Rupture of membranes: If there is gush of water then it is likely membranes have ruptured.
- Greenish dishcharge
- Bleeding
- Show: Lots of discharge mixed with blood is called show. It is a sign of early labour.
- Anytime you don’t feel right or are unsure of what is happening it is good to consult your doctor.
